A few days ago the Gujarat government issued circulars stating that all primary schools ban mobile game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds popularly called PUBG because it was “adversely affecting their studies”.
Now, to make sure that its students stay fit and healthy, a private university in Gujarat has banned petrol and diesel vehicles inside the college campus. The college administration has introduced the bicycle as the only means of transport.
ANI reported that Parul university in Gujarat has taken this initiative to ensure that its teachers and students remain healthy. It has introduced 100 bicycles in the preliminary stage with four bicycle stands all across the campus.
The students can even rent the cycles as per their convenience for days, weeks or months by paying a minimal amount.
All students, teachers and other administrative members will have to walk all the way once inside the campus. The university which is spread over an area of 120 acres will deploy Hexi bikes to reach from one place to another. This decision was taken after teachers and students complained that it takes a lot of time to reach their respective locations.
